The following details entail the privacy policy of CSITauthority. Visitors are advised to contact us at any time regarding any specific queries towards our privacy policy. 

At CSITauthority, we regard the privacy of our visitors with utmost respect and importance. To preserve the integrity of visitor privacy, several things have been set in place. This privacy policy document outlines the different types of information that CSITauthority and its domain, blogger.com, collects from our visitors in order to provide the best viewer experience possible.

E-mail list and Newsletters

CSITauthority collects E-mails from its visitors with their consent using a secure service called sumome that displays E-mail popups at optimal times without disrupting readability and/or compromising with viewer experience. CSITauthority may also occasionally collect E-mails from the same service using smart-bars that float at the top of the page. These bars are otherwise used to display notices and event notifications. All collected E-mails are sent to a list builder native to sumome and batches to E-mails are fed to two popular and secure services : feedburner and mailchimp. Currently, CSITauthority is not actively using mailchimp but dumping Email lists to its reposiory for future purposes so that users will only get he content that want. The current active service is feedburner which sends non-intrusive short feeds to users who opt for CSITauthority newsletters in their E-mail inbox. We hate spam just as much as our visitors do; therefore we make an active effort of keeping our visitors clear of spam and spammy content. We will be taking this service to the next level with mailchimp soon.

Chat and comments

CSITauthority comments are handled securely by blogger.com, facebook API, and google services. Chat is handled by tlk.io. Comment moderation is done by a select few trusted admins and moderators of CSITauthority. Ofcourse, we do not even collect information irrelevant to us. When you comment, depending on the service, your screen-name, profile-picture, and publicly available information is collected atmost. We do not collect your E-mails from comments(if ever asked for verification). E-mail newsletters are purely a different and distinct kind of service. 

Advertisers and Affiliates

CSITauthority does not share your E-mail ID or any kind of information with advertisers and affiliate services. Advertisers and affiliate services are only provided with anonymous demographics provided securely and anonymously by google analytics tools and blogger statistics. We are tight-lipped about your activities here. Rest assured.

Types of activities we record

CSITauthority records, for in-house usage, these following user activities and/or information across all the services that it uses to obtain these types of information:

• Name of the Visitor
• E-Mail ID
• Age
• Gender
• Language
• Location
• Unique Sessions
• Frequency of Visit
• Duration of each visitor session
• Browser used(Chrome, FireFox, Safari, Opera etc)
• Operating System used (Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Android etc)
• User's Network provider's name and public IP address
• Device used to visit this site
• Pages viewed
• Posts viewed
• Heatmap data (i.e. Which content users click the most)
• Content maps (i.e. How interesting is the content and how much of it was read in average)

These information are collected across various secure services including Blogger.com, Google Analytics, Sumome and Statcounter.

Why is this information collected?

Information collection works two-fold:

• It lets us know what you want, so we can always deliver exactly what you need
• It lets you know what to expect from services like our E-mail newsfeed that posts content directly to your E-mail inbox if you want. Or, you could also follow our social updates (on Facebook, Twitter and/or Google+ ) to get relevant updates.

How is your information safeguarded?

CSITauthority does not use native processing. It makes use of very reputed and completely secure services like Google services(feedburner), Sumome, and Blogger.com(from Google) to help secure your information. Anonymous statatistics mapped to public IP address are recorded by statcounter which is only accessible to CSITauthority admins to boot! This makes your information 100% secure with us.
